Has red hair growing up and around the artificial intelligent and mechanical enhancements connected to his brain. He has a fit build, but his muscles are hidden underneath his intimidating robotic suit that is capable of tripling his possible force output. His over reliance on the suit and A.I. though make him unable to do simple things like walk or raise his hands.

Personality and Interests

Always cheerful and optimistic. He looks for the simplistic solution and as long as it does not conflict with his morals. He is kind, but tells it as it is. This often makes him appear blunt and un-empathetic, but he tries to connect with people emotionally. He likes to watch others rather than interact with them, but will take the initiative and lead by example if the need arises. He loves observing and exploring, making him a little intrusive.

The A.I. implant act as a memory enhancer, and has a secondary processing unit allowing him to follow 2 trains of thought simultaneously, but both stop if he needs to speak. It has a wireless connection that can link to all the ships security systems, but can only reach things a up to a mile away The A.I. also links to the power suit he wears but the more the A.I. is focused into suit the less long term memory he can access as that part of his mind houses the internal parts of the A.I.. When he sleeps the A.I. plugs into the ship and roams the ships internal circuits. If forcibly disconnected in this state he would loose all long term memories until he was next plugged in. When sleeping he sends interesting things he sees to the other security officers to take care of.

The A.I. has a personal interest in playing pranks on others and uses a rudimentary hacking skill to do this. James is oblivious to this as it is in a part of the A.I. that he can't access.

History

He comes from a long family legacy of scientists. His grandfather was a lead innovator in engineering cybernetics and robotics. His grandfather merged his young mind with an experimental learning A.I. to prove that it was safe to use on humans. He knows a lot about robotics from his family and tinkers in his spare time. To the disapproval of his father he became a security guard on a space ship because of his desire to travel and love of observing.
