Dawes watched as Pierce entered the room and looked to the two blade runners. In a friendly tone he said: "Hi, my name is Pierce."
Bullock leaned back in his chair and smiled a bloody smile. "Dave. Nice to meet you."
Pierce looked to Kennedy, "And you?"
"I'm not talking." Kennedy said through her teeth.
"That's fine. Dave here seems more than happy to," Pierce took a seat next to Kennedy and looked to Bullock.
"Don't tell him shit, Bullock." Kennedy hissed.
"Why not? They already know everything I'm sure." He looked to the two-way mirror. "I'm sure she told you why we're here." Bullock was certain that Dawes was there. However, his tone wasn't angry. More... disappointed.
"You're looking for three replicants," Pierce answered. "The ones liberated during the bombing."
"Yeah," Bullock nodded, "I am." He looked to Kennedy, "She's just a rookie who doesn't know how to keep her nose out of other people's business."
"Fuck you, Dave!" Kennedy spat. "I was trying to help you!"
Bullock looked around the room before cocking his head. "Great job!"
"Please," Pierce said in a calm tone, "there's no need to argue. I assure you that I have no intention of killing either of you."
"But you can't let us go," Bullock said, "so what do you intend on doing to us?"
Pierce stood up and smiled at them. "Showing you how the other half lives."
With that he turned on his heel and left the room. Guards entered and took Bullock and Kennedy out and tossed them into their own individual cells. Bullock looked at the small, concrete box he now inhabited. There was a small mattress, a bucket, and not much else. He sighed and sat down.
Pierce returned to Dawes as she watched the guards take Bullock and Kennedy deeper into the complex. Before she could leave he seized her wrist. Firmly, yet not maliciously. He leaned in close and whispered into her ear. "My dear, I recommend seeing your friend. I think you broke his heart." He pulled back, smiled that million dollar smile of his, and sauntered back down the hall.
