I Accept

Glinda stopped her stroll and looked directly into the Golem's shimmering, green eyes. "That is...devastating" she said with emotion. "To wake up to learn of the last few decades worth of events? I cannot begin to understand how that feels. And I do apologize for the brashness of my General, the Lion. I assure you that as long as this city stands and stands for Oz, there will be a place for you. If not for your kind, this city would not stand as it does today. Please, good Golem, tell me that you will not leave us now? Someone of your unique skills and experiences could be invaluable here in Emerald City."

Maxx looked at Glinda and saw she was indeed serious what she said about making a place for him in her city. She had a hopeful and kind look in her eyes which touched him deeply. It had bee a while since he felt any real positive emotions since he was trapped in his Amber Prison. Maxx knew his options were low and if he had to live alone he would definitely fall into a deep depression which was bad for a long lived race like his. Though it pained him to loose his people and home, he was relieved Glinda was offering him a chance to start anew. He was the last of his kind now and he was not sure if he could ever bring his people back from extinction without pure magic. Since the Witch of the East drained his people's magical mine as well as his people, he had no idea how to reverse that past. So all he could do for now is just take the odder Glinda was offering. Perhaps in the future he could rebuild a new life or find a way to bring new Emerald Golems back to OZ.

Maxx: Since you seem very sincere in your offer I have no reason to refuse. Sadly I am only able to mine and blacksmith emeralds. I imagine I could work with other minerals but there will be a learning curve for me. Could you tell me what type of products your kingdom would need built from me?
