OOC - Poll: The Dalen-Verden War

I was talking to Tedwar recently about a history post I wanted to write and I mentioned that, in my head, the most recent war between Verden and Dalen was concluded 20 years prior to the current game date. Tedwar pointed out that this timeline really throws Kline's backstory, as he would have only been 3 years old at the end of the war.

In my mind, the war started when Thalia declared herself "Savior of the Magical Races" in response to the Purge, which happened when a recently coronated Asgurt began to exterminate all magical creatures and mages in Verden. Dalen invaded Verden and was defeated. Some more details of this conflict can be found in Auriel's history.

Anyway, so that is my mental image. When do you guys think the most recent war between Dalen and Verden was, and why do you think it happend?
