Slave trouble

Gareth heard the distant sound of a fight soon followed by the wage scent of blood. Looked back towards the marked they'd just come from, but he couldn't see what was going on. The smell of the blood only reminded him of how hungry he was and almost without thinking he tried to get back to the marketplace. Sabina was surprised at how the strange guy reacted to something that she barely was able to hear, but then she started to worry that she might not be able to hold him back all by herself. Quickly she tied the end of his chain to a knob on the front part of the saddle to make sure he would stay here. Not surprisingly he wasn't able to drag the horse with him and was thereby forced to stop. Sabina was relieved to see that it worked and then tried to call out to him "Sorry, but we're not going back to that place. We need to find some were we'll all be able to stay so we can get some food and rest allright?".

As soon as he heard her mentioning food he immediately stopped, turned around at looked at her. He might not want to stay with her, but since he didn't have much choice and that she would be offering food, then he could no longer see any reason of trying to escape now.
Sabina took advantage of the situation and tried to make eye contact with him, but as soon as their eyes met he looked away. She let out a quiet sigh before starting to lead her horse away and by doing so bringing Gareth with her.

She kept walking and walking through the city, but couldn't quite find a place that she liked. All the buildings were far from being in the condition she was used to back home, but she kept on looking. After almost an hour it became too much for Gareth and he was starting to feel so dizzy that he could barely stay on his feet. When Sabina stopped for just a short moment to look around he sat down and closed his eyes to get just a little rest. Sabina only just noticed this right before she was about to continue and stopped. "Please, you can't just sit there. We don't have to walk that much further and I'm not going to drag you." She looked at him both annoyed and concerned at the same time. True, he really didn't look too well, but was also embarrassing and made people look towards them because he was sitting there in the middle of the road. He better not be faking this... she thought by herself as she waited for him to get up, but nothing happend.

(OOC - To Jaxx. Not to be rude or anything, but I know it's nice to have a character who can do just about anything and beat up everyone with ease, but it's not very realistic. Would you please try to be a bit more realistic about your characters abilities and remember that he actually is traveling through a country where slavery is allowed and he would get in serious trouble if he kept on just killing all the slavers and took over all the city's he came by. Thank you ^^ )
