Bandit Camp

It only would take a moment; perhaps the time it took to take a breath, magic, however, had a way of making time seem strange. Glumly fixed his eyes on hers, Kalena could feel him in her head for only a moment, plucking something from inside it, feeling like he had plucked a hair from her head but it was on the inside of her skull.

Kline set the bottle down; it was immediately take by a swarm of the fey. Moving to the others who were sitting and just watching. “Glad you guys could help.”

“We did not know what help we could offer.” Laffy said quite honestly.

Van laughed. “You can be quite poetic, we did not know if you were getting sweet on the Lady.” Van winked, and Kline felt himself blush.

“No, she and I are going to go see where the bandits camped.” He took up a lantern and lit it. “We will be back as soon as possible.” He turned and left, he did not wish to talk about it anymore with them; he knew they would have a few more jibs to say.

He knew how to fight, socializing, and doing so with females in a manner that seemed civil was something of an anathema to him. He returned with the lamp.

Glumly jumped from the perch he had and landed on the ground. “I guess we will take the earth path, I doubt you would be up to using the trees.” He said with a bit of snobbery in his tone, clearly they were not as gifted as his kind.

The camp was really not that far, horses still picketed, only six though, and a large tent with some bed rolls rolled up and packed for a quick getaway.

OOC- I could make him, or someone else if they wish to play him. I do wonder what secret he took.
