Mind the furniture!

Seeing Cordelia leading the well dress fellow up the corridor, Tyreth stood, his heavy wooden chair scraping against the floor. The knight would have offered his hand, albeit formally, but the elf was struggling with a box.

Turning to Cordelia, Tyreth smiled softly and answered calmly, "Some more fresh orange would be most pleasing, if you don't mind." Turning to the rest of the table he adds, "Ok ladies, meeting's over and you are free to go but some of you can clear the table of the breakfast things please." With an after thought he says, "Giselle, I think it would be best if you stayed a bit longer."

Tyreth shot Maxine a nod and noticed that she hurried away with haste in her diaphanous shift, obviously she now doesn't mind being seen in it in the normal day to day workings of the Orchard but with male visitors around, she looked more than uncomfortable despite the past.

The blonde human offered the elf a sympathetic smile after he cack handedly dropped the box onto the table, and in his mind he was thinking that the poor table has survived generations but would do well to last the morning with this stuffed shirt around.
Tyreth paid him no heed after an initial rolling of his own eyes, his ramblings were background noise as the knight reached into the box and picked out his Uncle's contracts. Tyreth was no stranger to contractual, many a time he was on bodyguard duty to the Queen as she resided over legal disputes. Just because it wasn't his duty, did not mean he wasn't listening to what was being discussed and the rulings which followed.

Turning to the sun-kissed brunette beside him, and when Cordelia returned with the drinks, he gestured for her to take a seat beside Giselle. The slightly older woman was dressed in brown, her outfit more practical for her work but still pleasing to the eye. Numbers were rolling around inside of his head, and he reached for a quill and ink which Maxine was using earlier and the back of one of her parchments. At first he asks Giselle how much she thinks this place is worth, and poignantly to both of them, if it is worth saving?
Leading onto how much the repairs are going to cost, the cost of running the household, although Maxine would have had a better idea on that particular subject, and how much money the cider and fruit produce is going to bring in over the coming seasons. Tyreth has some money saved from his royal service and campaigns for the Queen, at the time, the money was of no concern for him, as he was doing it for other reasons, but now, he finds the payment could come in even more handier than he did less than an hour ago.

The blonde knight turns to the moneylender and looks squarely at him in the eyes and offers him, "750 gold now, and 20% of future profits, paid quarterly."
