More soldiers

(OOC – I am so sorry to hear that. You don’t have to apologise at all. What happens in real life is always the most important to take care of first. I hope you’ll be all right and wish you all the best.)

---- The Bramble Wood, Very Near Jocelynn's Inn, Early Morning, 1 DSTR ----

Despite the light and noise produced by the bolt of lightning when it went flying virtually right past him, Gareth didn’t even flinch. He was far too consumed with enjoying his meal. When there wasn’t anymore blood Gareth was ready for the second course, the heart and liver. However, before he even managed to begin this his eyes caught sight of the three additional soldiers that had appeared and dropped the lifeless body.

For a brief moment or two he just watched them, not because he was scared, but simply trying to decide which one to start with. Since there didn’t seem to be the big difference between the soldiers he just went for whoever seemed to be closest to him. With his eyes fixed on his new target he rushed towards the soldier, but before he got within striking distance he quickly changed direction. Speeding up a little he made a curve around the soldier, allowing him to grab the man from behind. The soldier might be bigger than Gareth, but as long as he were able to get to his neck he should be able to take him down.

Not wanting to give the soldier enough time to turn around, Gareth quickly bit him in the back of the neck. Unfortunately, because of the mans size he had to almost chew a little until he got a good hold of him. Now he just had to bite down hard enough to break the neck. This was all a matter of having the right technique which was something Gareth had developed almost to perfection through the years. When applying the quick and powerful bite Gareth could hear the surprisingly satisfying sound of bones crushing, sending thrilling sensation through his body.
