The wagon

---- Dalen, the forest edge outside Starval, morning, 0 DSTR ----

As Nate followed Dorian he held back a rude comment about Boros being more of a danger to them than a help, but knew that now definitely wasn’t the time to offend any of the people around him.

Then Dorian explained about his relation to the giant man. It didn’t please Nate at all, or make him feel anymore comfortable around these people, when hearing about this. Still, he kept his thoughts to himself and simply nodded in reply.

When reaching the wagon and Dorian started checking the horses, Nate just crawled onboard and started to look for a comfortable place to sit. This however wasn’t going to be easy, but he shouldn’t be complaining. If it wasn’t for Dorian Nate would probably have had to walk the rest of the way to the capital.

He put his bag down and found a somewhat suitable place to sit, close to his bag and close enough to the opening in the wagon for him to see where they would be going, but from a distance that would keep him mostly out of reach of the cold breeze. It didn’t even occur to him that it might have been politer to ask Dorian if he needed any help with preparing for the trip. After all, he’d never had to help out with those kinds of thing before, because the servants were always there.
