Claw and Body

Tightly held in the claws of Nidhoggr, Kespin would have enjoyed the exhilarating view if not for the crushing grip.
Although a fan of leather, the rough skin of the dragons paw was not kind on his bare skin. Scratches and tears covered him, together with the flame and fatigue made his head swim.
———-
The wisp had been left behind when Kespin’s clothes were burned away, the flames also weakening the glass jar.
Its attempts at escape now bore fruit, cracks forming along its prison. Its luminescence grew with each strike, until at last it broke free and shot into the air.
Catching up to Kespin, it wasted no time in striking his forehead, soaking into the delirious mans skin and leaving a mark.
—————
Just as the darkness in his vision became complete, the wisp struck Kespin. As it went into him, energy flowed through his body.
Invigorated, the man cried out in shock as the mark began to expand into markings, runes that covered his bald head and spread down the back of his neck to fill his back with mystical tattoos.
Before looking like a man in his late 70’s at best, his body shifted to appear in its mid-50’s.
“Well now, this is a sight. Who knew I could do that?”
