No Dim, No!

Theo could feel the air leave his lungs as he bawked at the dwarf tearing through the woods. While Erik was slowed by the trees, Theo knew he could catch up.
“Dim, you daft stump!”
He guessed that tackling the dwarf would be stupid. Dwarves were sturdy creatures by nature and Dim looked to be muscle incarnate.
Running after Dim so that he wouldn’t lose his wayward associate, Theo couldn’t think of anything that would trip him.
“Dim, we don’t know if they are friendly!”
Erik was quickly left behind, the trees preventing any passage without breaking them. He didn’t know how the natives would take to a Jotun tearing their forest apart.
He decided that slow and steady wins the race, carefully following the bellows of their dwarven friend.
