Paths

"Oh excitement indeed!" Kespin replied to both Balar and Jorrick. "This will be a grand adventure. I am expecting to see a wonderous journey and I feel this motley bunch will not disappoint."

He picked up his bag, put away his book and grabbed his walking staff.

"Personally, I would rather deal with a dragon than a horde of ill tempered, bad mannered, ruffian bandits. They tend to smell bad." he held his hand over his nose and made a face to express his disgust. After a second, he bent down and picked a yellow stone from the dirt about the size of his palm. He held it up, examined it, and placed it in the bag hanging from his shoulder.

"Stealth, tact, and Intrigue, Yes friends, Stealth, tact, and Intrigue are what is necessary to fulfill Harlequinns bidding. I've had heard many a story about that one I have. Perhaps it is about time I cross paths with the trickster."

Kespin walked up to Jorrik. "Let us go shall we, Let's scout ahead and make sure the coast is clear."

Using his stick he pushed a bush branch out of the way and stood invitingly. Jorrik was a little surprised to see what looked like an old overgrown walking path with ancient moss covered stones leading up to the higher point of a hill.

"If I'm correct friend, this will lead us up. Up to where we can get a better look at what is the cause of our mysterious smoke."
