Erik at first eyed Tiella's hand with caution, then relaxed, trusting her not to harm him.
As Erik leaned down to be healed, a tingling in his wound gave him a bad gut feeling. Before he could react however, what looked like an ethereal trail from Tiella's hand struck the Giants shoulder, jerking him off balance as an intense burning enveloped his senses.

Dyvia watched Erik lurh forward with a horrified look, many of the others sharing her surprise.
Quickly, she found a way to shimmy onto the giants back, then taking her amulet, placed it around his neck.
Surprisingly, the chain seemed to grow to accommodate the larger specimen, then suddenly the connection broke between the half-elf and Jotun.
