Relief

Erik strayed more towards the back, watching Jorrik and Luna converse. He didn't like the thought of deep caves, mostly because of his great size.
Usually he found dwarves in one of two moods, those willing to host a giant, providing a night full of feasting and brew. The other were more hostile, giving him meager fair and a decent night's rest on straw.
From the looks of these dwarves and how they spoke to his companions, he had a guess that they hadn't lost all hope in strangers.
If they had lost it, he couldn't blame them.

Dyvia chatted away with two of the dwarves that guided them, happy to talk with someone who wasn't also friends with shadows or making deals with a demented god.
At the sight of lights, her chest began to flutter, she could not wait to be amongst her people, although she hadn't had much contact with northern dwarves before.
At the mention of food and beer, she nearly yelped with joy, containing the urge so her allies didn't think she was soft.
Either way, the group already acknowledged a change in her demeanor, not as much glare and scowl as before.
