Balar exchanged glances with Tiella as the group piled into the cavern after Luna.

"The girl has courage, you have to admit." Tiella said.

"She has more courage than is good for her." Balar growled and with that they followed the others in. They followed the flickering torchlight through the darkness for a few minutes before the cavern began to descend once more.

The walls were slick and damp. Green with subteranian algae and moss. In the areas where the torchlight failed the flora of this dark world gave off an ethereal glow. Up ahead they could hear the hushed conversation of Radis with Jorrik and Luna. After the first surprise of the group ignoring his advice he had returned to his affable self. Encouraged no doubt by the small flaske that the men were handing around.

A sharp sound like splitting rock brought them all to a sudden halt, and Balar drew his axe as Tiella hissed the word, "Magic."

The group edged forward in the darkness as the cavern opened up and flattened out once more.

"What can you sense?" Balar asked of his wife.

"Powerful, but fading." She said with a look of concentration, she was holding her dagger and it was glowing hungrily in the dim light of the torches.

"A body!" Came the voice of Jorrik from ahead.

"Still breathing." Kespin added. He had run over to crouch at the still form that was now coming into view.
