Moving On

Balar raised his eye brows at the Dwarfs offer. Rune magic could be a powerful asset if their new ally were willing to use it to aid them. He pushed the thought away unwilling to drag yet more innocent souls into his doom. Instead he answered,

"Friend Dwarf, save your skills for a greater need. I suspect our problems lie ahead not behind. Besides if the way is now blocked then direct pursuit is unlikely."

And with that the party started out once more along the Deep Road.
