A Dragons Slumber

Balar stood frozen in place. The bones of the Dragon, he could hardly credit it. Tiella came to stand by his side and gave a low whistle.

"By all the gods." Balar breathed.

"Is it truly the world serpent?" Jorrik asked.

"I know of no other Wyrm of this size." Balar replied.

They all began to advance upon the gigantic skeleton and as they moved the air grew colder and their breath came forth as white bellows of stream.

"I do not like this." Complained Majvoc and as if in response to his words an icy blast of air filled the chamber driving away much of the mist and revealing the true magnitude of the Dragon.

WHO DISTURBS MY SLUMBER?

The grating voice filled the air and carried with it the stench of death.
