Cali and Garm slipped through the open wrought iron gates to the inner “courtyard” of the palace, though there was nothing majestic to the structure in the mind of the witch. She sent the wolf in ahead and called back to the others, “Time is short and you’re literally wasting your lives out here. Dyvia, if you can walk I think it’s best to do so now. Whatever harm is to come from this encounter is sure to come. Balar…..” And Cali waved her hand dismissively at the young Elf mage before shaking her head and following her wolf inside.
