Battle of Hel

Although charging into her with all of his might, Erik was caught off guard by Sigrid's quick recovery and counter attack. A shallow cut on his back let him know that she planned on toying with him.
"Come Jotun, I will kill you again and this time, my mistress won't let you come back."
Growling in irritation, Erik swung his hammer savagely, hoping to knock her off balance. Sigrid laughed as she dodged each attack with ease, ending the attack with a swift kick that knocked Erik onto his back. The risen dead tried to hold the Jotun down as a maniacal Sigrid flew through the air with her weapon raised.
Rolling just in time to avoid fulfilling her promise, he rolled back and used the momentum to kick her away from her blade.

Kespin felt the power around him, not just physical, but the waves of magic surrounding them. Keeping his voice steady, he dodged several draugr and even knocked a few down. The shard shook erratically as the powers contained within were called upon, sparks shooting onto Kespin's arm and arcing towards his eyes. His awareness grew immensely with the shards help, feeling the voices of the damned wail as they clawed for freedom, as well as the inner voices of the gods as well.
Both were concerned with different actions at the moment, but shared one common thought.
Mimir
A sudden flash in his vision almost broke his spell, the journal at his side flipping open to random pages, only for them to rip free and fly around him. Where they had once been filled with writing, they were now bare. Feeling his spell reach its maximum power, he slammed his hand on the ground. In a growing radius, the dead began to freeze, the already frigid ground becoming like rock to trap the digging draugr.
"Hel! Come out of the shadows and face us!"

Dyvia did not get a response from the thief before they were forced to fight just to stand. Swinging her hammer wildly, she struggled against more cramps. Fighting her way to Kespin, she was greatly relieved to see the dead slow their assault.
"How long....do you think that will hold."
The old man's seriousness faded again as he looked towards her.
He grunted and shrugged his shoulders.
