Shadow started laughing. “Foolish child the staff was to help my mistress control her power.” he said. Luna gave him a strange look she very early heard shadow speak in plan language and now he was laughing what had gotten into him. “Shadow I think you have been in the cold to long” she said.

Varan’s glance over her shoulder told her that danger was close. She held her right hand straight up and conjured her shield it formed in a dome of silver dancing light around her. “ you are blind by power I do not need the staff to use shadow magic” Luna said.
