The wisp began to glow intensely, a ward forming to deflect the dragon fire, though some fingertips and hair were not saved in time.
“Are not we all lost in these times Great One?”
While his body was protected, the heat soaked through his body and reddened his skin. The lake water must feel wonderful this time of year for sure.
