Black-Hooded Man Comes Knocking

I rushed to the pond as quickly as I could and slide in, letting my eyes adjust to the gloom.

"Sisters." I whispered. "It's me, Whitney, I need to ask you somethingSuddenly." Arliena appeared by some weed, holding a sharpened rock.

"Sister, I thought you knew we hate you leaving the water... IT'S OUR DUTY TO PROTECT YOU! We swore!" She shouted gritting her teeth, while other nymphs started to swim behind her. "We have come to a conclusion." She stated. "You are not our sister, not properly. So we don't care what happens to you."

I looked at them, stunned.
