Kiss...
Megan woke up with Saito putting wood in the fireplace by the couch. Without thinking, she rushed over to him, and started to touch his chest.
"Are you ok? I am so sorry, Saito... I didn't mean to- I'm so sorry." Tears started to form in her eyes. Saito touched the side of her cheek.
"Its ok, I know too well what your going through... I should be the one who is sorry... For making you like this, Megan." He hugged her.
"I know you saved my life, and for that I am grateful...but I'm scared... I'm so scared Saito." Saito hugged her tighter.
"Its ok, I am here, I won't leave you on your own. I will help you." Megan couldn't help but let her tears flow then.
She hugged Saito tighter as she cried. She felt her head being touched, and after a few moments she stopped crying, and found herself conforted by his touch. She moved so she could look at him. It was the first time she really looked at him, but yet she felt like she already has known him for so long. She noticed his eyes change to a dark blue, as he looked at her.
Without knowing why, she reached up her hand and touched the side of his face as her throat started to burn. But this time it was easier to ignore. All she could pay attention to was him. He wiped a tear that was going down her face, she wanted his touch. She wanted to stay by his side. She started to lean in to kiss him when an image that came into her head, stopped her. Her biting him. She slowly started to pull back.
"Megan..."
And with one quick movement, Saito had her back into his arms and was kissing her. She quickly responded, like it was the most natural thing in the world to kiss him. She grabbed the back of his neck with one hand and one put one hand on his chest. His kiss deeped at the reaction. Megan suddenly thought, out of her moment of pure happiness, that she could tell he was hungry. She pushed him reluctantly away.
"Saito... your hungry, aren't you?" Saito smiled, and she knew she was blushing.
"Nothing I can't control." He started to lean in again. But again, reluctantly, she stopped him.
"You have taken care of me, now its your turn." She could see the worry in his eyes. "Dont worry, I'll go clean up and I'll wait here until you get back." She smiled at him and he sighed. He helped her up and when they were both standing he caught her off guard by hugging her.
"I wont be gone long. So stay here and wait for me."
She smiled. "Don't worry, I will."
She felt his hesitation as he let her go, and walked to the door. He stopped in the open doorway and turned toward her.
"Don't let anyone in, and lock the door behind me, its getting dark and its dangerous at night. I'll be back soon." He said with a smile. Megan smiled back and nodded, and with that, he was gone. She went over and locked the door with a sigh. She laughed to herself. She missed him already...
