Carson was willing to give this stramge mans plan a try. "what people?"
"It will take some effort." The Official said. "Some events in town have scattered them, and it'll be hard to find them. The first you will need to find is a woman named Allison Newport, she's a state trooper. The next is Isobel Vaughan. Both have had experiences," He looked to Gus. "When you find them, you must open their eyes like Charles did yours."
"How am I supposed to do that?" Gus asked.
"You will know." The Official said.
"How are we supposed to find them?" Gus asked.
"Go to the Prickly Cactus and ask for Freddy Falcone." The Official said. "He will help you." The Official then looked around the diner to all the alien guests who were still staring at him as if he were the specter of death itself. "I must go." He made his way towards the front doors and stepped outside. However, before the doors fully closed he popped back in and said: "Also. I want to say: good luck, we're all counting on you."
And then he left.
Mr. White was bathed in a bright light. The echoing sound of what resembled a heartbeat resonated in his ears. It was the first thing he heard. Then, a voice.
"You are needed."
"My mission?" Mr. White asked.
"Five. A traitor going by the name 'Carson,' and four humans. Their names: Rayne Lee, Joseph Masters, Allison Newport, and Isobel Vaughan."
"It will be done."
The light enclosing Mr. White faded and he found himself standing in the middle of a highway. It was night, and the stars shined brightly. Mr. White looked to his right where a sign was standing.
It read: Welcome To Jackalope Crossing.
(OOC: I'm gonna work with Caribou to get Isobel caught up with the rest of us in the story since we've got an interesting plotline planned for her and Miles in her search for answers about the death of Nate Castagnacci and her own personal experiences with the strange goings on in town. In the meantime, I figure I'd have Gus and the others contend with Mr. White here to keep things interesting.)
