Welcome to The Shadow Conflict, a game centered around secrecy and espionage. Your overall goal to stop an attack from taking place in New York City. Whether you do this as part of Task Unit 32 or The Grey Veil is entirely up to you. If you don't want a part on the main stage we also have Civilians you can play as or a First Responder with the NYPD. Down below you will find information about all the groups as well the rules I have laid out for you conduct during RP.

Task Unit 32: A joint CIA/ISA outfit comprised of tactical personnel and field agents. They conduct their operations from within the civilian population, only using full tactical gear when the situation calls for it. They specialize in infiltration, interrogation, escort details, intelligence gathering and have substantial training with firearms. Most of their gear is centered around being low profile, so this means knives, concealable handguns as well as low profile body armor. The men and women of this group are the best at being unseen and unheard.

The Grey Veil: A group of hackers whose aim to is bring the truth to the public. In their eyes the government has done nothing but lie and shape the truth to suit their agendas. The Veil have taken it upon themselves to undo this. In most cases a member of the Veil could be anyone. They could be your best friend, your co-worker, that stranger you bumped into by accident in the subway. Only the members of the Veil can recognize one another, they do this by messaging one another via an app on their phones that only members of the group have access to.

Civilians are pretty self explanatory, they're the everyday people. The ones who go to work everyday to make their living. They have clue as to what happens in the shadows around them, unless they themselves choose to take an interest in what lurks in their shadows.

The NYPD: A mix of police officers, fire fighters and EMS personnel. They are the first line of defense for the civilian population, the everyday hero that work outside the shadows but are no stranger to what lurks within.

Now for the rules:

1. No God Modding- If you're character is injured or killed accept it, that's just how this game played.

2. Ask First- If you mean to kill someone or injure them please ask the player first before going through with it. This also goes for any physical interaction or contact.

3. This is Rated R- Meaning there will be blood, there will be swearing, it will get pretty intense. No this doesn't those spicy late night sex scenes, yes you can have your characters "interact" but keep the details to a minimal.

Alright that's all I got, if you have any questions feel free to leave an OCC.
