This story is going to be more or less what would happen if dark souls was made into a D&D campaign. Gore is allowed.
The last thing a character remembers has to be related to a battle somehow.
Homunculi: artificial beings created fully formed. They have heightened durability, not to the point that arrows bounce off their skin but if you punched one in the jaw you'd hurt your hand more than you hurt them. Not very expressive.
Human: you get the idea.
Nightborn: thin and lithe, low light vision so they are great for stealth and tracking. Always paranoid.
Fighter: sword and shield, fisticuffs or anything in between as long as they have finesse.
Berserker: warriors without any particular style fighting brutally and without remorse.
Archer: any variation of a bow or flintlock guns.
Caster: spells of any kind including healing, necromancy, cryomancy etc.
Allow yourselves to go a bit crazy but no god moding.
