Number 7 (Day 1 Late Evening)

Riley curled her lip as Bennett passed, hopefully he was in the medbay to check on the hemorrhoids growing on 'dat ass' of his. 'Course if Adler removed the hemorrhoids, Leo might cease to exist all together.

"Lieutenant," he said politely, a cat eating canary grin on his face.

She held up a hand in passing, not a wave in the least, more a directive to cease speaking. She couldn't understand the love Keller had for the man, but apparently, he had some unlimited, undisclosed supply of wealth, something else the man could pull out of 'dat ass.'

Riley knocked twice on the door with an open hand, wrinkling her nose at the stench Bennett left in his wake, a combination of body spray, bourbon and her own disdain. “At least I see you’ve replaced me with good company,” she chuckled, leaning on the doorframe. “So was it a faux pas at that fancy black tie party? I thought it went well. I thought the night after in my cabin went really well, but it seems you’ve been avoiding me ever since. Don’t get me wrong, you don’t owe me anything - if this isn’t what I thought it was becoming, maybe I had my signals crossed. But I’d like to know one way or the other, and I’m not much for mincing words. So what’s going on?”
