* Shrine of Bethesda

The Shrine of Bethesda

A common enough sight in the game setting both in and outside of the Deep and Dark. The Shrines of Bethesada served as santuary and safe havens for adventurers from the dangers of the world beyond.

The shrines come in all shapes and sizes the most common feature being the Image of Bethesda herself often of purest white marble placed upon a central eight sided dais. The air of the location blissfully silent or blessed with a chorus of voices singing softly the psalms of the Mother Goddess.

The Shrines locations often serve as Save points in game as well as neutral ground for all who seek sanctuary there.

Warded and protected by powerful and ancient magics. Adventures know well enough to not draw weapons or cast harmful spells for fear of invoking the Great Mothers Wrath.
