Compassion

Mar let out an exasperated sigh. This girl was not getting the point. However it was also clear that she was being contrarian given she was obviously in a deep state of fear. Mar decided that pushing her further would only serve to make things worse. Balance had to be found within herself, however there was such a great imbalance that anything more would only tip the scales further down the path she was on. So Mar opted step back.

"You can't blame yourself for what happened." Mar said finally. "Paren took you on as a padawan with the intention of protecting you when needed. He would've given his life to keep you safe a thousand times if he could... And at the time you would've no doubt fallen to the blade of that same Inquisitor... You still have much to learn, you could be a powerful jedi one day, but only if you trust in The Force, trust in me. And don't let your master's sacrifice be in vain." He turned to walk out.

"Rest, young one. The journey ahead is a long, and difficult, one."
