Liden was obviously taken aback by the sudden appearance of Serenity and the viciousness of her attack. The moment she seized Liden by the throat it was clear this young girl was both strong in The Force... and easily swayed by her emotions. Liden smiled as the girl continued to choke her. And then she returned the favor by gripping the girl's entire body with the force. Once free of Serenity, Liden began to laugh.

"You have much to learn, young one. But I commend you for your tenacity. You have much potential... perhaps I shall take you... show you the ways of the dark side." Liden raised her saber and held it near Serenity's face. "It suits you, child..."

"Mar!" Mira suddenly shouted as she tossed him her lightsaber. Mar was quick to catch it and ignited the blue blade and proceed to, with only one working arm, fight off Liden. She let go of Serenity as Mar slashed at her.

"You choose your students well, Leto." Liden said with a smirk as she jumped back, away from Mar. "However you will fail her... You are no Jedi. She is already so close to the dark... You'd both be better off joining me."

Mar held up Mira's saber in a reverse grip, ready to strike again. Making sure he was between Liden and Serenity. "Never..."

Soon Mar found Keran standing by his side, saber at the ready. "You will not have the child. Nor Master Leto. You have underestimated the Jedi this day dark one."

Mira too came to Mar's side. "I say you better run, schutta."

"Better finish this up, doll!" He called to Liden. "The beast is getting hungry and he doesn't care if you're a ship or a group of storm troopers!" A chuckle escaped him as he imagined the beast within the storm biting down on a group of said troopers.

Liden regarded the group with a smirk and switched off her lightsaber. "Very well... I got what I came for anyways... Though we will meet again, Leto..." Liden then proceeded to force push a wall of snow at the group as she retreated to her shuttle with Jin'Lor.

Mar switched off the saber and handed it back to Mira. "Thanks..." He called back his own wretched saber and tucked it into his belt before going to Serenity. "You okay?" Mar then smiled. "Thanks for helping me out back there..."

A roar echoed through the cold air. Mira looked up, then to Mar. "We should probably get out of here, Mar. If whatever's in that storm is enough to scare a lunatic like Jin'Lor I'd hate to meet it." She went to him. "Do you need help there?"

Mar shook his head. "No, I'm fine."

"Big tough Jedi," Mira smirked as she shouldered him. "You're in bad shape, just let me help."

Keran hopped in front of Serenity. "Young one, what you did was foolish... and brave." He put his little hand on her knee reassuringly. "Come now. We must leave this awful place."

KC let out a string of bleeps to let Mar know he was getting the Void Swift ready to launch. And that Ryze and Ghost were on board.

"That's fine, show him where the medical supplies are." Mar told the droid.

The troopers were still retreating while Liden's shuttle ascended up into the clouds and out of sight. Another loud roar pierced the sky ominously as the two ships in the landing bay prepared to disembark.
