"Spaghetti al Nero di Seppia it is then. I do enjoy spicy food, of many varieties and from various places in the world, but... it doesn't lend much to intimacy, and I plan to have your kisses for dessert."

Jax had Sera blushing as well. She loved the thought of his kisses, but it was also something she wasn't used to getting. Her last relationship had been so many years ago. This was almost like everything was brand new. "I was thinking the same thing." She was truly referring to the meal, but the kisses would be given as well.

"Well, if you can swing it then, how about we make our honeymoon a grand tour of the Mediterranean then? Stops along the whole of the coast; Spain, France, Italy and Sicily, then onto Greece as well? Then, some other time on another vacation when you can get away, I can show you other parts of the world. I've traveled a lot for my work, to garner not only inspiration but use real examples I've seen firsthand in my writing."

It all sounded amazing, but Sera new that it would be hard to get away from the office. The disappointment from this probably showed on her face as she answered. "I would love something like that. I just would have to figure out how that could be managed. I might need to hire someone first who could hold down the fort, but that would take a lot of time to find someone I trust and train them to my standards." She frowned. It would be hard to trust someone with her job. Before her, the only other person to ever make the matches was her father.

"And don't think I didn't catch you skipped a question there... Miss Hart. I know that puts you on the spot so I'll go first on that one... I have a full, adult size set of Scooby-Doo pajamas - matching top and bottom, with Scooby-Doo slippers to match. I loved the show as a kid and my mom had an adult set made especially for me one year for Christmas, and while odd, I don't have the heart to never wear them, especially when I visit my folks."

Seraphina smiled and laughed playfully at his tale of Scooby-Doo pajamas. She tried to imagine him in them, but couldn't. She thought for a few more moments, but honestly couldn't think of anything embarrassing in her whole apartment. There really wasn't much there as she didn't spend much time there. Usually, she was at work. "Honestly, I don't know. I don't even really spend time at home. I really only have the essentials."

"So aside from the books I saw in your office, what else do you like to read?"

"Actually, every book I own is in that office. I am never home to read, always at work, so I keep my entire collection in that room on those shelves." She realized what she was embarrassed about. She had no life, just work. She basically lived in that office. How pathetic was she....

"Trick of the trade, don't write if you don't read... can never be blamed for copying someone else's work unknowingly then."

She smiled at him softly. "I would love to read your writing sometime," she stated, unaware that she actually own a few of his books under his pseudonym on her shelves.

"And for our second date, if you'll indulge me, I'd like to cook for you. Do you have any flavors, spices, and foods you are especially a fan of or that you don't care for?"

Food was easy. "I like almost anything. Italian is probably my favorite, but there really isn't anything I won't eat." She reached her hand across the table to hold his. She looked into his eyes as her own were filled with the love she had for him. It felt so great being with him there, learning everything about each other.

"Well, I guess I should ask you some questions of my own, although I do have an entire file of things about you," she joked with him. "
