Wynnie exchanges rings

After Robert had put a ring on her finger, it was her turn. She glanced at Steph who could read her nervous energy well. This was a big moment. The rings made all this officially official. Wynnie took the ring from the pillow in the flower girls basket, where both rings had been carefully placed by Wendy before the ceremony. She looked at Robert, took a deep breath and repeated the officiant’s words. “With this ring, I thee wed.” She gently slipped the ring on his finger.

Then, the officiant spoke, “With these public promises and vows, and the symbolic exchange of wedding bands, I now pronounce you, by the power vested in me by the state of Oregon, husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.”
