Wayward Breakfast

Alec had been drifting through a distant memory when Monika's commanding voice brought him back.
Rugaru..... A final look to the board before he turned to see his friend sitting with a yet another newcomer.
"Mornin Monika, you tryin to get a sidekick too?"
He looked to the woman still chuckling, bringing a calloused hand forward in greeting.
"Alec Henderson, don't believe I have seen you around here. Monika bring you in?"
While he knew it could be considered rude, breakfast was top priority at the moment. After getting an order placed, he brought his attention back to his inquiry.
