The slap hit loud and hard across Kye's face. All he could do was stand there in shock, slowly returning his gaze to Aurora. "I..." He tries to figure out what to say. How could he respond to her when she revealed such things?

The tears seemed to be the breaking point for him and he dropped his head. "Sorry..." He practically whimpered the word. "I just...I really think Seev is telling the truth."
