Jay and the Cap

The tavern had cleared out a tad after Murdock had his interviews. The barkeep was still conversing with the funny-talking man from moments ago. A few others had come and gone to get a drink or ask a question. It actually seemed fairly busy for this size of an atoll.

Jay finished his sip of hydro and approached Murdock. "Ello." He gave a nod of his head to wait for a return gesture of sorts.

"I couldn't help overhear that you're taking on crew." Jay studied Murdock. He didn't mess around, that was for sure. Jay could tell he meant business, and had a mission of sorts. Life and money, for most people. For Jay it was trading and surviving, who knew for this captain.

"I'm fairly sure I can help you out," he finally put forth.
