Diving At Dawn

Riz was still tired and blinking heavily when the Captain said he would be on first watch with Ms Hawthorne and the newcomer. He got up quickly to look around for something with caffeine if he was to continue staying lucid. Not a moment later the captain returned speaking of shallower depths and ordering him to get diving.

"Now? Now! Umm umm.", Riz said to himself as he looked around for the supplies he would need to scavenge. He didn't know if there would be enough light to be diving at dawn but he wasn't about to argue with his Captain. Soon he stood on the port nacelle adorned with his net, hooked spear and diving googles.

Soon he disappeared into blue, shattering the sunrise reflected off of the surface. He followed the anchorline as far down as he could.
