19: Shen Li (Shen Li Post)

Shen hung on every word of Min's tale, he loved the behind the scenes production details of the video, but as Min continued, he realized that there was a darker side to the industry. He did not ask many questions, just absorbing the tale, realizing that it meant a lot to his roommate. He tried to imagine what it must be like to living a dream, and watching it slowly turn into a nightmare. The mutant powers part of it was equally unimaginable.

"I am sorry it went that way," Shen said, hoping that he sounded as empathic as he felt about the situation. He could not understand it but could feel the pain it caused. He wasn't really ready to talk about his own mutant coming out, because he didn't fully understand it. Apparently he was some sort of nocturnal ghost with gravity powers. The two factors did not fully jibe in his mind, but it was tied to events at his school, and the untimely death of his brother during a rescue mission. He had been told of the events, but just thinking about it was like being hit by all hundred cars of a freight train.

He smiled, forcing the unbidden memories down. "If we find someone with music skills and all we can make a animated boy bad, sort of like Gorillaz... I mean if you are interested even in a short. I think the people of my old animations won't want to collaborate from across the world."
