Fight or Flight

Evie gasps as she hears the shot and sees the wolf. Her heart sinks as the poor creature hits the ground and is suddenly human. It is one of her kind, a superhuman.

Eyes going wide, she looks up to the man before rushing to the unconscious girl and attempting to pick her up, pull her along. "Wake up," She pleads, glancing to the man as she pulls and pulls. Being light weight herself this is a difficult task to accomplish.

The red head she is pulling is not heavy, but Evie does not go around lifting weights all the time.

When she realizes she may not be able to help this way, lets the girl lie on the floor and glares at the man. "Leave her alone." She says in a demanding tone and raises her hand as if ready to use her power.
