Blood Simple

RED-1 heard his communicator activate. “RED-1, this is Senator Fluzhi are you available?”

“Yes Senator Fluzhi, I am always open for you," replied Red.

“Can you meet me in my office?” asked Senator Fluzhi over the communicator

"Will be there shortly" replied RED-1.

“See you then,” said Senator Fluzhi.

Walking quickly to Senator Fluzhi's office the droid scanned the room before entering. Only one BIO signature there it was Senator Fluzhi's. The droid still had the conversation in its memory from that party it wondered if Senator Fluzhi approved of it watching from afar. Almost spying on the Senator and others that might be a threat. Walking through the door RED-1 paused.
"How can I help you, Senator?"

“I was given this.” Locke handed over the all-white card. “It’s not smooth, not like regular or even expensive paper, there is something on it, I was hoping you could examine it for me?”

Taking the card RED-1 looked it over and checked if it was a threat. "It is a message card but with a BIO signature. You must give a drop of blood to activate it. Senator, make sure you don't touch things you do knot know what they are. That can be dangerous. if you wish I can take a drop of blood and activate the card" Suggested RED-1.

"Okay." Locke held out his hand. "Proceed."

RED-1 gave a nod "Yes Senator" then its head snapped to the right looking out the window "What is that?" RED-1 said inquiring what it could be acting startled. When the Senator looked there is nothing there. He could feel a slight prick of his finger

"See all done," looking back at RED-1 you would think it had a sly grin.

The droid turned with the card putting it between the card and the Senator. RED-1 placed the drop of blood on the card as the circuits started to activate. "Well, it's not going to harm you. Stand by" as the card ran through its process. "Ok here not sure why someone would go through this trouble, Senator. But here you go it's completed now," informed RED-1 handing back the white card.

Locke watched as the card activated. The blood, his blood was the catalyst that began a chemical reaction. A symbol burned from the center out, an almost golden ratio spiral, as well as an address. “I think I know what this is, good job Red. Want to come along?” Locke didn’t think he was in any danger, but then again he was still guessing as to the nature of what he had just been invited to, it wouldn’t hurt to have a large droid along.
