D'Virr - A Good Evening, Sir Gnome

It was fairly obvious that Brunhilda was proud of the business she ran as she gave the D’Virr a full tour showing the elf everything from the common room to the kitchens before leading her upstairs to the guest rooms where a small room had been set aside.

“It’s not much really…” Brunhilda offered as D’Virr looking over the small room, taking notice of the boxes by the door and the barrels of brandy wine set up along the far wall. “ Its smaller than the common guest rooms so it sometimes gets used for storage but the bed tends to not get used much and there is a desk and some chairs as well as a common chest underneath the bed to storage your belongings.”

“It's very nice.” D’Virr acknowledged, nodding her approval.

Brunhilde for her part however offered an uncertain look. “ Still, I’ll tell the others you're here and not to just come and go as they please. I’ll also have them fetch these boxes and barrels and have them put somewhere else while your with us.”

D’Virr smiled warmly and nodded. “ There is no need to trouble yourself.”

“It's no trouble Luv.” Brunhilde smiled in return. “We’ll I’ve things that need doing so come down when your ready to each and we can talk business when your ready.”

D’Virr had stowed away the majority of her belongings in the chest underneath the bed save for her lute and other assorted items she preferred to keep on her person before finally heading downstairs to the tavern's common room.

It was as she had descended the stairs that she noticed that the evenings crowd was already starting to gather and that her hostess and her girls were already busy attending to the business of running the tavern.

Not wanting to be a bother to her host D’Virr elected to slip outside and settled on one of the benches near the main door and began to play her lute watching the evening customers come and go. A few copper coins being tossed her way now and again by the taverns passing patreon’s.

It was as she played that a Gnome-kin appeared offering her greetings.

"Eh... Good day, milady," he stuttered.

“And a good evening to you sir Gnome.” She replied warmly as she tested the strings of her lute thinking about what next she could play. “ Do you perhaps have a request?”
