The Rn 9 beeped back in a tone matching the Captains.

“Last time we were here it cost us twice what it should have,” Alejan said as he unbuckled the harness and moved out of the pilot seat.

“You just don’t like the attention that Shima Shi gave you last time we were here,” the ships security officer, Rovik Trovacen said.

Shima Shi is female Chadra-Fan who runs a small shipyard. She was the one who had modified the Event Horizon adding weapons and smuggler compartments.

“She hears everything, and notices everything,” Alejan added as he punched the switch for the hatch door.
