Character Information

Paloma is a wanderer in her heart and was a courier by trade. Her first job was as a courier working mostly in New California, she made a trip or two to New Vegas, but she never liked the area. The gangs in charge of the Strip were weird and the robots on patrol were creepy.

She reluctantly took a very high-paying job to deliver something to New Vegas, even though she vowed to never go there again after the last time. She regretted it almost as soon as she stepped on the strip. To say the delivery went wrong is like saying having a mini-nuke blow up in your face would give you a bad hair day.

She barely survived. At least she got half the money upfront. She also killed the wrong person to save her own skin. She had a bounty on her head, it was completely unjustified. Paloma’s head injury also made her temporarily lose her sense of direction she thought she was going south to Mexico, but she was actually going north. She was hiding inside an empty water tower that had fallen over and someone turned into a shelter and then for some reason abandoned. She was going through her stuff to see what she had and what she needed. She realized she still had the package that she never delivered. She decided to open it. She had never seen one up close before, it was a Pip-boy. She decided to keep it and put it on. That first night it was hard to sleep with the Pip-boy on she thought about taking it off, but she needed and wanted to get used to having it on all the time. The following morning as the last of her food was cooking, she checked out the map and that’s when she realized she was going the wrong way. She just kept going, it made no difference to her.

She eventually came across a battlefield, a bunch of corpses with blue jumpsuits and Pip-boys. She was confused by the scene. She looted everything she could to sell later. She only took one the Vaultsuits because it seemed undignified to strip those people of the clothing off their backs. She took a Vaultsuit from a female who other than having her head blown off had a completely undamaged jumpsuit. She took the Vaultsuit because she wanted to wear it under her normal clothes since she was heading north, she figured her tank top and ripped jeans probably wouldn’t provide much protection from the cold.

She reached the Oregon area, specifically Gresham. There she found a heavy PMC presence. She felt safe there as long as news of her bounty hadn’t reached that far. One day while attempting to sell her stuff Tanner Wallace approached. She hoped he didn’t remember her. He did, she began to panic but then he told her defected to the PMC so she calmed down. Tanner eventually convinced Paloma to join the PMC.

Paloma prefers to use revolvers. Across her travels, she has picked up a .223 pistol, Police pistol, .44 Magnum revolver, GRA 5.56mm pistol, & Ranger Sequoia.
