Clay Plan B

A day after joining Dagget's security team Dick was in the car, when Dagget came running to the car covered in blood and ordered him to drive. Before Dick could do anything the bulletproof glass of the windshield shattered spraying Dick and Dagget with glass shards.

Dick nearly took a shard in his right eye. The blood from his many wounds was blinding him in his right eye. From his left eye he could barely make out a featurless clay like object rapidly moving or growing. He knew most of the weapons he had would be useless and just pass right through it or just cause it to bend. He figured the only thing that might work was the taser. He grabbed that and tased it. It howled in pain. It turned it's attention to Dick. "Leave or die! Puny man." Dick spit out some blood. "Hey! I am not puny." It held Dagget down while turning it's face towards Dick. "Jokes!? You're making jokes now?" Dick shrugged. "Had to buy some time." Dick then tased it again at a stronger setting. It howled and took off not before slicing Dick's hand. Dick dialed 911 for the security detail inside. Then got Dagget out of there. Instead of taking Dagget where he wanted to go, he took Dagget to a safe house. When Dagget protested Dick closed the glass partition and released a knockout gas. At the safehouse Dick was patching himself up in the kitchen while the Martian Manhunter was in another room interrogating Dagget.

After he finished bandaging himself up he looked over the taser that Cyborg built. "Vic you sure this thing will only knock Ava out?" Victor groaned. "I made it based on the sample you brought back and analyzed. There is a less than .000001% chance it will kill her." Dick liked irritating Victor like that. "Good enough for me."

J'onn came out from the interrogation. "I have learned everything I can." He told Dick everything. "Vic get whatever you can from their computers and pass it along to the police. As soon as the babysitters show up J'onn and I will begin phase two."

A little while later Koriand'r and Rachel Roth showed up. Dick and Kori shared a kiss while J'onn shapeshifted into Dagget. "Time to go babe." Dick and 'Dagget' got in a car an proceeded to follow Dagget's itinerary until another attack happened.
