The Clay Intiative

"Dagget" and Dick were in Dagget's office for about an hour when a mud like substance started coming out of the vents. Dick tried tasing the creature but it was quicker and pinned Dick to a wall. Dick threw the taser to J'onn who used his shapeshifting powers to avoid attacks and tase her.

The creature howled and began to shift randomly between several forms or partial forms before eventually collapsing. "I thought/hoped she would stay solid." They collected her in a pot meant for plants.

In the Watchtower Dick interrogated the creature. "You are Ava May, correct?" The creature was inside a sealed container. "My real name doesn't matter! You can call me Clayface!" Dick made a note for her file. "That container is sealed, no way out. I am going to ask you a series of questions, and you'll answer them truthfully. If you don't, then I am prepared to make things difficult for you." Several drops of water fell on her. "You wouldn't dare?" Dick taps his stylus on the tablet. "Are you prepared to take that chance?" Clayface shifted to what used to be Ava May. Clayface told Dick everything. "Interesting. And why did you remove Simon Stagg's testicles and destroy them?" Clayface smirked. "He was a pig. He got his secretary pregnant. When she refused to abort it, she made sure she did by slipping the drugs into her water himself. He's lucky that's all I did." Dick made more notes. "The Justice League would like to offer you a way to earn your freedom. By working with us and the Batfamily out of Gotham." Ava smirked. "How?" Dick stood up. "As you know, Gotham has been taken over by a rogue militia. They are prepared to take down every superhero who comes their way using Batman's safeguard measures. You are a new and unknown quantity. Help the Batfamily free Gotham, and you can go free. Or we can send you to a secure long-term holding facility." Ava got a twisted grin. "You mean go after the assholes who did this to me?" Her face shifted to her severely damaged appearance. Let me at those monsters.
