OOC - Welcome!

Welcome to our first play by Post Maelstrom game. We'll be getting going shortly, we're just waiting for one player who has had a family illness.

Please take a few moments to introduce yourself to the group.

Rules will be as the Maelstrom rule book, first published in 1984 (gulp! I remember buying it new from my local bookshop) and, the Maelstrom Companion (just as soon as I've printed off the pdf copy I bought from DriveThru and read it).

I'll post as often as I can and then it's up to you to post your actions within 48 hours (ish). Not a hard and fast rule and we may post more or less often depending upon life.

Anything anyone wants to add, this will be the place to do it.

I'll go first - Hugh, wrong side of old. Started with the Fighting Fantasy books when they first came out which led me to the red box basic D&D. Played innumerable games over the years, mostly AD&D, CoC, MERPS, Traveller, Judge Dredd, TMNT, Marvel Superheroes, some Runequest, a bit of Dragon Warriors, Inspectres, Burning Wheel, Paranoia etc etc.
