JP - Someone is in love with Piritta

Colt held out some rope to Piritta. “Did I hear you say ‘tie him up’?” He grinned, trying to make it a joke to lighten the mood for them. “And we can ask Annie to get you a new knife made. She’s closer to our Finnish side of the family.”

“You’re kanadalainen?” Piritta was even less impressed. She took the rope from Colt and started tying up Razor. “Joo, Annie can probably help get a new blade for it.”

Razor grimaced and let her tie him up, keeping quiet for a moment. “No…I ain’t from this continent…”

“That accent suggests he’s possibly German…” Colt said with a shrug.

“Ah, saksalainen.” Piritta said, picking Razor up like a sack of potatoes with his head close to the ground and his feet in the air.

“Is this really necessary? I’m not gonna run.” Razor said calmly, still holding the handle of the knife. Colt and Drizzt followed her.

“Joo.” Piritta let Razor’s hair drag in the mud as she carried him to the vehicles. “Where should I stick him?”

🌧️

“Should we still try to hit up the facility?” Alex asked Klaire as he approached the van

Tzeitel was shivering too, her jacket was still in the cellar in the Underground so her clothes were soaked through. “I know. But… fuck… do we have towels and dry clothes here?” She was worried about them getting sick or hypothermia.

“Uh, I can help…” Sorley said and started using his powers to collect the water off of the others into a large ball.

“Or that,” Susi giggled. “Thanks water guy!”

Gelf smiled at Sorley and looked at Alex. “Hmm…”

“I don’t know…can we?” Klaire asked. “Or should we head back?”

“It’s your call Klaire” Alex replied “I’ll follow you regardless I brought plenty of statues.”

“It’s up to you, Klaire.” Tzeitel said. “Though now we have a prisoner…”

Sorley gathered the water and put it outside the van where it splashed on the ground.

“I’d say half of us drag him back and half keep going, but…” Susi made a face.

“Lets…let's get that guy back…” Klaire didn’t want to go back, but she knew there were priorities here and James had proven he wasn’t going to die easily.

“We can probably turn right back around to go after James after dropping this asshole off.” Tzeitel told Klaire.

“Why didn’t this guy attack us? It’s like he just stopped the moment he saw Piritta.” Klaire mentioned.

“Oh, I think he’s in love with her.” Susi giggled.

“Or knew he was going to lose to her.” Tzeitel shrugged. “I’d quit if I had to fight her.”

Sorley settled in a seat of the van.

“The fact he’s not struggling says a lot, though…” Gelf pointed to him as Piritta arrived. “Floor?”

Razor looked at them all and raised an eyebrow. “Hi…”

“He’s in love” Alex replied with a chuckled “don’t suppose you’re willing to be a turncoat and help us free James?”

“He’s at the facility Drizzt and I came from.” Razor answered. “Thrane is most likely experimenting on him.”

Piritta unceremoniously deposited Razor on the floor.

“How do we know we can trust him?” Tzeitel asked.

“I mean you could knock him out with your oils for the next couple of hours” Alex offered.

“He’s not lying,” Drizzt said as he sat down at the wheel. “If he was, you’d know it. He sucks at lying…unless it comes to his cigarettes.”

“I like my cigs. What can I say.” Razor shrugged and sat up. “I’m not gonna do anything, so don’t worry…” He watched Piritta.

Susi leaned into Alex. “The way he’s looking at her is like that cat looks at Evie…”

“Whiskers? That cat can be…” Sorley tried to think of a polite word for ‘sneaky asshole’.

“I’m fine with knocking him out.” Tzeitel shrugged.

“Or how you look at me when I’m shirtless” Alex teased.

“Think we could use it to our advantage?” Gelf asked, watching Razor just sit there in silence now.

Susi just blushed.

Klaire was just silent and stared out the window as Drizzt started to drive them all back.

Alex simply pinched Susi’s ass before climbing back into the truck.

“Mä en tiedä.” Piritta shrugged in reply to Gelf’s question.

“You’ll save him soon.” Tzeitel told Klaire again, wishing she could cheer her friend up.
