Introducing the Two Newest Ongoing Worlds Community Honor Recipients

The OWCH awardWith the Tournament of Simulations completed, it’s time for us to honor the individuals behind another absolutely fantastic role play:  Rhiannon (aka Emily Wake) and ryjones are hereby awarded the Ongoing Worlds Community Honor (OWCH) for their outstanding service as moderators of the 2778 A.D. sim.  Indeed, founded less than a year ago in August 2015, the game has seen an astounding 2177 posts since!  It has not only exceeded all expectations in terms of quantity, but it has also set the pace for Ongoing Worlds sims in the flash or short form posting style.  This has allowed for many fascinating and unexpected turns in the story.  If you’re looking for an adventure, this game is where it’s at!  Congratulations to both Rhiannon and ryjones!  Well done!

The OWCH is presented by the Ongoing Worlds Board of Advisors for service above and beyond the call of duty to the Ongoing Worlds organization.  Anyone may make recommendations for the award at any time to star [dot] idf [at] gmail [dot] com.  Past awards have been bestowed for writing blog articles, providing IT support, running major events, and more.

We would also like to announce that Diego Herrera has joined the Ongoing Worlds Board of Advisors.  He will help run major events and will continue as a contributor to this blog.  Welcome to the team, Diego!

    Well done!

    • Rhiannon

Thank you! I think I speak for ryjones and myself when I say that we are happy to accept this honor!

Unfortunately, ryjones is posting all across his games that he may be leaving OW. Life is getting too hard to balance with his job and six children. So many games may be needing someone to take over his characters or will die, 2778 A.D. being one of them.
