OOC - Engines of Chaos Recruitment Pitch

After at least a month of development, the Come Together Development Pad has finally produced a game. The current plan is that Engines of Chaos will not be the final product, but rather a setting in which we test out a lot of the setting, organizational, and moderational ideas that we had. However, any sort of a final game will probably not be produced anytime in the near future, as we're way behind on that timeline I proposed, and Engines will probably kill even more of my time that I could put into development...

All that said, the first game, Engines of Chaos, has been launched, and we are now looking for heroes/heroines, supporting characters, and antagonists. You can look at the game itself or the Development Pad for more detailed information, however, the basic premise is that a motley band(s) of heroes from pretty much any universe are being assembled by a self-proclaimed divine entity to combat the ambitions of multiple homicidal factions bent on multi-universal conquest.

One of the unique things about this game is that players can use just about any character ever (supposing they aren't so overwhelmingly powerful that letting them into the game ruins the experience for everyone). This notably includes characters from old games. Did a game that you made a great character for die before you finished telling your character's story? Engines of Chaos can be a great opportunity to pick that character's story back up again.

Of course players aren't required to use unoriginal or recycled characters, new characters are also welcome.

We are currently in the process of assembling the heroes that will be fighting all the various bad guys before dividing them into teams. We have decided that the following skills are particularly useful for the heroes to have:
- Being skilled at close combat
- Being skilled at distance combat
- Being skilled with combat magic
- Being skilled with illusion/manipulation magic
- Being skilled with magic that protects people from weapons and other magic
- Being skilled with computers/tech savvy
- Being mechanically gifted/knowing how to fix stuff
- Being skilled at medicine/healing people
- Being persuasive
- Being a skilled leader
- Being perceptive, observant, and capable of remebering and piecing together information, tldr; detective skills
- Being stealthy
- Being good at sleight-of-hand stuff, like pickpocketing, cheating at cards, etc.

If this idea intrigues anyone, now is a great time to join! If you have questions, you can feel free to email me at Nimpbp@gmail.com, or ask the question in the comments section of this post.
