OOC - Welcome to Hogwarts!
It has finally arrived! The Harry Potter game we have all been wanting is officially here. If you would like to join please follow the link before. The game will be set at the beginning of a new year, where everyone is allowed to take full advantage of creativity. I have made sure that we get as close to the real thing as we can.
There are 3 different groups for creating a character
1) Student: Creating a student would mean that you are attending the school. You may choose the house you belong in and what year you are currently. Remember that we are in a school. So, all First Years must have the core classes along with Flying. Third Years and must have two electives provided that their schedule allows it. Fifth Years are studying for their O.W.L.s and Seventh Years are studying for their N.E.W.T.s. A reminder that Sixth and Seventh Years are allowed to drop core classes if they are not taking N.E.W.T.s for those classes. IF THE STUDENT IS A FIRST YEAR, LEAVE THEIR HOUSE UNDETERMINED AS THEY WILL BE DETERMINED AT THE SORTING CEREMONY. You may have an idea in your mind of what house you may want to be in. Once the sorting ceremony is completed, you may go and edit your character to reflect the choice of the Sorting Hat.
2)Teacher: Creating a teacher would mean that you teach at the school. Most positions are open for teachers except for a few classes. If you desire to teach a specific class, please be advise on if the position is currently filled. If not, you may create a new character to fill this position.
3)NPC: NPCs are students, teachers, and/or other people that take residence in the castle. These characters are ones ANYONE may control and belong to no one. Please be advised; when creating an NPC that anyone can write for them.
Pictures will be of students/teachers/NPCs wearing outside clothes. Meaning they are NOT in their school robes.

I am trying my best to replicate and keep as close to the source material as I can. I have consulted Pottermore, the books, the movies, and the Harry Potter wiki for all the information I have included into the game. I want everyone to have the best experience at Hogwarts. Please come join the Hale brothers in their adventure in this year's schooling!
