Two Nos and A Gangrel Walk Into Gomorrah

(JP with Jaxx and Cindy)

Leon and Colette arrived at Gomorrah with Eddie following. They went to the door and Leon told Colette to go on inside and get them a table. He waited for Eddie to be ready then the two Primogens walked in.

It didn't take long for Colette to get a table. Leon pointed it out to Eddie, so, Eddie could sit with Colette if he wanted.

Leon went to the bar and ordered some drinks for the table which were sent over quickly. Access to one of the VIP suites came with his status. He walked back over to the table and handed the key to the suite to Colette.

Leon knew a ballgown and heels wasn't Colette's normal ware and she probably wanted to get changed. They both had extra clothes in the offices downstairs but with the other Nos down there it was just easier to get dressed in one of the suites. Addressing Colette, "Here take the keys and get changed."

Colette took a drink of her blood, "Thanks, " She left the table to get changed.

Leon sipped his blood and then spoke to Eddie, "Gomorrah has always been the neural ground but were you filled in that it was officially made the Elysium? And Helena the Keeper?"

It wasn't a surprise and Helena being made what she did anyway, just made sense.

Eddie rubbed his mustache and mouth as he thought about his answer to Leon.

Eddie: To be honest we have been on our own since the war. So I am out of the loop on this stuff. In the background was the club music.

Ghost of Stephen Foster

Leon nodded as Eddie's response made sense. He was just letting him know because Gomorrah being the official neutral ground meant it was safe territory. Even safer than when it was unofficial.

Eddie: So I take it this place is for business and pleasure?

Eddie had heard of such places but never experienced it due to being low on the rankings in the past.

Leon responded, "Yes, it's for both. My clan's business is still run out of the basement, as well. It's better for it to be here than someplace others might not trust."

Eddie gave Leon a shocked expression. To his understanding, this place was owned by a Toreador and they had issues with the Nosferatu. He was confused by how much he didn't know was going on outside his world. Apparently, there was more to this place than he knew.

Eddie: So what's involved in doing business here?

Leon sipped his blood, "Depends, renting offices takes approval from Helena and money. The rest most people just do at one if the booths. Quinn does business here all the time. I think it's just known she does."

Eddie leaned in to whisper to Leon.

Eddie: And the Toreys are cool with this? I mean the Nos.

Eddie was not sure how to ask this properly.

Leon said, "Yes. Helena isn't like regular Toreadors. She doesn't seem to have an issue with us. Besides, I'm sure the extra money doesn't hurt with that either."

Eddie nodded as he understood the power of money.

Eddie: I see. So is this something Adele changed or is there more to this story?

Leon knew Eddie had been out of the loop but the Nos running their business from the club wasn't new. He shook his head, "No, this happened before Adele was here. The information business started being run out of here over a year ago. It was just safer and made sense. We've never had an issue with Helena.".

Eddie was satisfied with that answer as he nodded, and sipped his blood from his glass. He then wondered how he could do business here in the future. In the past, he was just a low man on the totem pole but now he was a Primogen. It was a huge change in his lifestyle so he needed to learn fast without sounding like a fool. Since the Nos were wise about a great many things he hoped to learn as much as he could from Leon.

Eddie: Sadly my elders were not able to share this info with us before their demise. Is there a membership to get these services?

Leon understood why Eddie's elders might not have been able to share this information with him considering what had happened.

Considering his reply, Leon said, "You'd have to speak with Helena. Normally, you can get Jackson to let her know that you need to speak with her about getting VIP status. All the Primogens, I believe, have it. So, it shouldn't be a problem."

Eddie was a bit surprised by this as he raised an eyebrow at Leon. He then realized it was a simple process of talking to the right people.

Eddie: Sounds doable. I'll talk to either of them when I get a chance tonight.

Eddie looked around as he saw the crowd and listened to the music. It was not really his scene but it was nice and fancy compared to the old run-down bar.

Eddie: So what kind of music do they play here?

Put A LId On It

Leon hadn't paid that much attention to the music here but, "I think it's normally about what's playing now."

Eddie nodded as he found it entertaining to listen to but he still preferred the old Rock N Roll music. The harder the better for him.

Eddie: So we might be here a while waiting on a woman to change close huh?

Leon smiled, "Yes. Afraid that's how I spend much of my time when I'm around Colette. You'd think in the last 100 years or so she'd gotten quicker with it."

Everyone knew that Leon and Colette's sire-childe relationship was of a father-daughter type rather than one of the many other types that it could have been. So, when Leon spoke about her getting changed, there was a light-heartedness to it.

Eddie shook his head as he replied.

Eddie: We don't have any females in our clan anymore. So it's been kinda weird with the guys. We may need to change that in the future when we get our businesses running, but even gangrel women hogged the bathroom.

Leon tried to imagine a group of Gangrel women hogging the bathroom. "It's, sort of, good to know most women have that in common." Leon paused, "I hadn't heard you had no women left. I would agree though you might want to bring some in." It just brought more evenness to the clan, in Leon's observation of such things. It wasn't off Leon didn't know that, Colette had filled him in on the most important details but having no women in a different clan wasn't something he needed to know.

Eddie nodded as he smirked.

Eddie: Yeah besides the obvious. We will need some hotties to entertain the customers and move some merch. I was looking at some other biker rallies and saw how they did things. We have a lot to deal with as is, so this will be bigger than we were expecting.

Leon couldn't say he knew much about biker rallies but what Eddie said made sense. "Biker rallies are a little out of my knowledge. Did you have dates set for it?"

Eddie shook his head no; as he sipped his blood.

Eddie: Nothing.s set in stone since we are still in the building phase, but we are guessing it will start next year in March.

Leon nodded, "That should bring in a lot of business for you and the area in general."

March was good, the weather tended to be decent, it was after Mardi Gras and the weeks leading up to that.

It was about this time that Colette returned, she sat down in the booth and handed the key to the VIP suite back to Leon.

Leon knew she had probably checked on the business, (which meant she checked on the clan), so he asked her. "Everything good?"

Colette looked at him and responded, "Oui. All good."
